The world we live in today is composed of a diverse group of people with different backgrounds, cultures, traditions and thoughts. These differences have come between people and have become a reason for hate, discrimination and racism, as opposed to being something our society can take advantage of.

I am a Junior at the University of El Paso at Texas. I am taking an English course in which we are required to focus and research a political issue and offer various views to this issue. I have decided to work on Discrimination in cities located around the U.S. borders (Canada/Mexico).
